Why should business owners attend?
Trade Unlocked is a unique event that is bringing together small businesses, large enterprises, policymakers and politicians. It’s never been done before. And we hope that by putting everyone in the same room, on an equal footing, we can solve the biggest challenges facing all businesses by influencing current and future governments.
SMEs and individual traders are an extremely important voice that is often ignored. In fact, they are the most important people to invite to take part. It is these businesses that are often suffering silently, and Trade Unlocked wants to change that. Everyone who attends on 20th June has an equal opportunity to shape the recommendations produced, and we hope the materials below help you invite them. This is a unique chance for them to speak directly to policymakers.
This event is for absolutely any business that buys components, products or services from overseas. Or who sell their goods and services to customers (both B2B and B2C) outside the United Kingdom.
We are particularly keen to invite sole traders and smaller organisations within our network, especially those that might have further to travel. If you employ fewer than 10 people you may qualify for free accommodation the night before the event. You can ask the Trade Unlocked team directly by emailing info@tradeunlocked.co.uk

Make the most of the Industry Village
The Industry Zone is a place within Trade Unlocked for delegates to congregate with others from the same sector, and act as a focus for advocates for that sector. The Industry Zone sits right at the centre of the conference space, becoming the crossroads for delegates and the place to meet and network.
Industry Zone pods will host exhibitors to distribute literature, hold informal meetings, engage with delegates and give presentations or workshops advertised through the event app.
Delegates will be able to access industry-specific information, expertise and interactive content by visiting the Industry Village pod relating to their sector.
